It was Admiral that told me they wont insure any driver under the age of 21 on the car unles they were 2nd driver.

If you fit an induction kit you'll hear the standard one anyway.
It'll run worse whatever you do...

got a Bailey twin piston atmospheric one on my uno, sounds alright, but i like the chatter of a rally car's wastegate, anyone know where i could purchace the item that would make this sound or can it not be done on a normal turbo car?

I know of a few z20let owners that have been dissapointed after fitting an aftermarker DV. My advice would be to leave the OE one on. Surely you don't feel you need a DV just to impress everyone? An Astra Gsi is a nice car as it is, be happy with it.
As Ian said, fitting an induction kit makes the OE DV a lot more hearable. Perhaps you should think about that. Go for an enclosed kit like the BMC CDA.
If you've got your heart set on a DV most z20let owners go for a Bailey, they do a fitting kit for the Astra too.

admiral gave my bro a quote of 1500 at 18 on a cav turbo with zero noclaims and 1 accident his fault.
