Just doing online quotes on CIA insurance...
Me as a 20 year old, (student ), 2 years NCB and Pass Plus... Trying to get insured on a 106 gti.
I've got no convictions, no points, no accidents etc...
Car 1998, around £3500
Quoted £3000 for fully comp... and £1800 third party fire and theft
WHAT THE FUCK!!!!
Why is all insurance so expensive for me? This year I got quoted £1450 fully comp on a fucking 1.2 16v!
I know there are people on this site with 106 gti's that are only 19 and pay £1000 or under third party fire and theft or around £1500 fully comp.

Stoke Poges, which is a nice area. But sadly it has a SL post code (for SLOUGH)... but still, surely it can't make that much difference! and Even if I still insure it third party only I get stupidly high quotes (in some cases more than tpft) - to which doesn't make sense since then theft is not a issue and thus doesn't matter where it is.

Just said to my mum about it and she starts going ... 'Where do you think your gonna get the money for that '
Thing is, I'll probably have to pay about £850 on my corsa tpft next year anyway! so thats only £150 extra...
Say I sell my corsa for about £2800 ... buy a 106 gti for £3500 ish...
This is what my plan is waiting for next year though... I've got quite a bit of money stashed now, but after christmas I get a £1300 from student loan to spunk.
