Im fed up with it and think I need something newer that I wont break and more fuel efficient (60/week on Optimax

Trying to think of a replacement, want something fairly nippy and less than 5 years old....about £7k.....any ideas?

Much are those Ibiza 1.8T's going for now?

I would, never liked the colour anyway....

Yea you could get a cupra for 7K
Or whatabout a golf 1.9 GTTDi with 18's for 7k (this would be my choice )

Never thought of a Diesel....whats the stats on one of them?

I was planning big wheels/spoiler, more power for mine...but dont think Im gonna bother, sell it as it is now and get something sensible......also the fact I almost stuffed it last night

as its a diesel obviously the 0-62mph stats arent nothing special

But the torque on them are amazing and 30-70mph stats are chuck in a new chip aswell and it will be a flyer

Golfs are stunning when slightly modded aswell.
4 years time im deffo getting a golf GTTDi and the first thing im ill do to it is to put them 18" TT alloys on it (s line) alloys.
Lower it and chip it and you got a beast of a car.

golf tdi's for sure infact the whole audi/vag company make the best diesels ive ever been in imho!

gf's dads got a 150bhp tdi golf and omg does it fly lower down the rev range its pants but hit 2k and its off! if he chipped his 150 golf it would go all the way to 180bhp and thats no joke thats the average power gain that these diesels seem to get!!!!!

feck the deisel get a petrol 1.8 20v t of some sort well tunable and well nice, bro's got a new tub deisel as a hire car in france at the moment said it's shit, fair enough nice thru the gears but personally I'd like something which can get offf the line fairly nifty too if you're spending 7k

Other option is company car but it would be a basic 1.5D Golf with wheel trims and I couldnt touch it at all

I think im too young for that

Just want something newer that costs less to run..........Imprezas great fun but I dont think the speeds worth the expense......also I hardly use it apart from going to work in which im usually sitting in traffic - I dont really need it
