might be getting a set of electric M3 mirrors that are currently in chrome, is it possible to get these sprayed silver or would the chrome surface prohibit this?

yes it is, cos normally its just a shitty chrome coating which can be rubbed down then primed with plastic primer.

make them, couple of LED's and a resistor and some solder and you got yourself custom mirrors
