iv recently fitted some gauges to my car and was having probs about where to fit them and all the gauge pods you can get look gay. i.e piller mounted ones, they just didnt suit the corsa, so along with a mate we made this......


i sprayed it up and fitted it today




so now we are deciding that if we get enough interest in them we shall bang a few more out.....so add your name to the list if you want one, not sure on price yet, were just looking to see if itll sell well, but expect to pay £20??? is that reasonable

Price seems a little high for what it actually is. Could prob make one for a fraction of that price.

Looks good though, although maybe better in balck? More of a 'factory' look then.

yeah i dunno what price to put them up at just wonderign what people thought, the normal gauge pods yo ucan buy that are universal cost about 20 dont they, this is actually for a corsa aswell. can do black ,i sprayed mine silver same as the other bits in my car

in a factory mass produced yes for a fraction of the cost, but making serveral 'one off's' i think the price is quite decent

ive made smoothed scuttles, and people just dont understand how much work goes into them

Broster you could make a fortune on a similat thing, tv mounted into mfd and heater panel. Does that make sense?

yeah i know but the tv thing is hard as the tvs are all different sizes. would need to sell the screen aswell. already thought about that.

price is good as far as Im concerned; ne1 whos willing to put in the effort to make themselves one cheaper is deluded - as this ones does the job for next to nothing and theyd only be saving pittance but give themselves a load of hassle in the process

So could it also be used for a push-button start kit, or say a serial port for plugging in the laptop to play with your Clifford alarm or engine management?
