as above, i've got some gmax springs, but the code written on does not match to any height i can find on any websites, just wondering if theres any way i can work out the size before i try and sell them....?

what make are they will sort of determine what height they maybe and what colour.

there gmax springs ad the code is 80 3220L, not sure if the 80 means there 80mm or what tbh?

Take it they are off a corsa?

The middle two letters in the code are usually manufacturer with GMax eg

30 VA 20L -- VAuxhall Corsa 60mm
30 RE 19 -- REnault

but urs doesnt have letters! 80 32 20L?? strange one....

Corsa B 60mm
Corsa B 40mm
Corsa C 30mm
Nova 35mm
Nove 60mm

so dont think there 80mm but not 100% sure

got a feeling they might be 80 cos i've got some gsi gmax 40 mm springs which = 55mm approx and these other springs are bout 4cm shorter, don't know if that means they might even be80-90? didn'tthink gmax did them that low???

no sorry mate, i returned themback to the place where i got them for a refund, only got these other ones which i dont know the size of, but they make the car ultra low, they rubbed too much on the front with 16's

As soon as I am looking to buy 40mm springs there's no1 sellin them!

yeah i had that problem, got fed up waiting and bought them brand new in the end!!as soon as you get some though every1 will start flogging there old 40mm ones.....

Thats always the way!

Excitement of gettin the car lowered has worn off a bit now.

I'll prob just end up buyin them of eBay for £65, which isnt too bad a guess.

well my mate whos on cport too is gonna be selling a gmax suspension kit with 35mm avo springs, dont know if you are gonna get a full kit of just springs? could always give him a u2u, username is Al3x.

Im just lookin the springs mate, got the nod from my insurance company sayin I can put in 40mm springs and it wont cost me anythin extra on my premium so Im not gonna push my luck!

Cheers for the info anyways. U rekkon Al3x would be willin to split springs / shocks? Il mayb give him a u2u anyways.

wouldn't have thought your insurance co would mind, springs and shocks, they sort of come hand in hand any way? bit weird, u should ask them, yeah give Al3x a u2u and see if he'll split, might do but i'm not too sure
