yeah thats true but look at dwain chambers for instance he got 2 year ban for more or less the same

Mutu is an idiot, we all know that now and Kenyon / Chelsea were right to sack him as i think any club should do when a player has done this (and im a chelsea fan)
Anyway i think the sentence is stupid, how can Rio get more when he wasnt prooved of it yet a player who was, gets less ?!!?
In my eyes he should of got a life ban or a good few years to warn other not to take drugs !!
He cost Chelsea £12m and they sacked him... From an inside report i hear when he comes back Chelsea will be sueing him !
When he does come back he will be starting lower down i would of thought to a club that will gamble on him...
I think he will be back better than ever as he is a good player, he will more than lucky go to a lower league and this team could get a bargain here !

He took drugs, went against the rules so gets sacked.... fairs fair
Arsenal ? Pah ! We dont care about Arsenal, level on points, more points in the champions league, giving them our sponsor as we have a new and better one coming soon, better chairman with lots of dollar, getting a MUCH bigger stadium than Arsenal

ferdinand missed the drugs test and so therefore could of had any drug in his system including performance ehancing drugs. mutu had taken cocaine which is classed more as a recreational drug than perfromance ehancing. he has also shown that he is willing to try rehab to get rid of his habit

You can't give a player that admitted he had taken drugs more than one that missed the drug test otherwise all players guilty of taking drugs would miss the drug test and therefore get a lesser sentence.

Didnt Chambers take a drug to improve his performance? Which is cheating of the highest order.
Mutu just has far too much money so decided to get cained on coke. Wouldnt have positively affected his performance.
I think the ban is fair. Its a recreational drug. Yes a drug is a drug but its nothing too serious IMO. Couldve been worse. Plus celebs are snorting coke left right and centre these days.

6mths (ish) is fair IMO... Ferdinand should have been given longer IMO  In my opinion he had cocaine or similar in his system else he wudnt have missed 2 tests and gone shopping etc etc etc

Also, no matter what chelsea win (if anythiung ever ) they will have been only able to doit withmoney Arsenal have won titles using gret skill and great play let alone the most amazingmanager everr, fergie is goodnodoubt but hes always had the £££ Wenger has built arsenalover the years on an effectiveshoestring
