Its not my car but I do feel sorry for the guy. Its wrecked the suspension and pushed the wheel back.

can claim it back on the farmers insurance if the sheep was out on the road, could have been a gate open or fence broken

I hit a monk Jack dear once one the way to work after filling up with petrol, got 10miles into my journey and car conked out, bloody deer had ripped the fuel lines when it went under the car so my £20 of petrol had been pissed all over the road for the last 10miles lol

Yes and no, if you were driving at speed and the road was not straight then the farmer will just say that you should have been driving slower as you couldn't see far enough ahead. Also, if there are signs warning you of livestock in the roads you should have been driving slower as you were warned of the possibility of animals in the road. Otherwise you have a case...
