Some pics of an 1.0 (4cyl) turbocharged corsa.

It has a GT12, an intercooler, custom exhaust and intake tubing (that I made myself ) K&N filter and a custom cold airbox!

Well, I understand that you guys don't have the 1.0 4 cyl... Is that correct?

Ours is rated for about 60 hp. After the turbo, it can put some heat in a C20XE calibra with light mods in 1st and 2nd gear...

I think it performs just like a STD X16XE... Something like that.

Well, no magic in this things... It has oem internals, the engine is untouched, as it came from the factory.

More torque means less durability, but since the engine is basically the same as the 1.6, with the same con rods, similar pistons and a similar crank (with the advantage that it has much less stroke), as long as fueling and ignition are kept under control, no damage will be done.

Yes, it is reliable.

Since the parts (turbo and i.c.) came from the VW Gol 1.0 turbo, things are not very expensive. The custom work is the expensive part, with all that aluminum machined parts and stuff, but to be honest, this is a very simple and basic system.

Consists in a piggyback ecu that controls one rochester fuel injector rated for 100 (extra) hp, one garret turbocharger, one VW OEM intercooler, custom exhaust and intake plumbing and some water and oil lines for the turbo.

With different money and markets, It gets hard to compare the cost efectiveness from here to europe, but there would be no way to get a similar car with the similar power with the same money invested. The only way it could be done, would be with an engine swap. But then, fuel consumption would be the issue...

Yes, I am!

Thank you!

For me it still sucks!

It seems to be much easier to write than to talk...

Do you want to buy some of these???

They are oem equipment of the older model corsas... Not the oldest though, the models from 2001 +, that in fact are still in production...

Its a common thing around here. They fit perfectly in your cars...
