I have recently done headgasket, whilst this was off i blanked of me egr to try and rectify the jerkiness i was getting. Now this has been done i'm not sure that this was at fault? It still feels jerky and it misses between 1000 and 2000 rpm. Could it be ICV or something else?

Any help appreciated. Cheers

Explain Exactly what you did to blank off the egr, allthough you blank it off to prevent it from working your EGR that should still be inplace just not plumbed in should work ok

i got a new gasket from vaux, i made a blankin plate at work. about 5mm thick. bolted everything back up with some gasket sealant. egr is plugged in....it has got rid of all me faults codes but is still jerky.

Italianjob...what did u do to the ICV to rectify it? heard that they need to be cleaned and reset or summat?
