rite i need to make a few cds with continous tunes on em! like for a party, and as u know....most pop and old tunes go quite towards the end of them.

wat i need is a reliable piece of software that can make cds by overlapping the tunes so there is no gap and it sounds boss!

i know nero can do this (theres an option to overlap the tunes by 2 seconds or more)
but has anybody used this to great effect? its so i can burn sum cds for the party and just sit off haah

I would use an audio sequencer such as Cubase SX for creating a continuous mix of tracks. It allows you to import 128 (probably more) different audio tracks into a project were you can sequence everything together, edit, add effects - loads of tools basically.

Probably not the best way of doing it as there will be programs available for doing the exact job a hell of a lot quicker and no doubt easier.

cubase isnt the best to do it personally - fair enough its a multitracker, but its not the best for this.

Personally i would either recommend Cool Edit, or Acid Pro 4 - which offer the ability to beat match tracks, pitch tracks etc etc and you can incoporate compressors/limiters (keep sound level similar between tracks, stop peaks etc) and eq plugins (+ more stuff)

nah its alright mate its not hard to do, will take you an hour or so (depending on tracks) but you can master it properly with the plugins and adjust volume/pan/effect enevlopes so you can make it sound professional etc etc

eitherway, its worth learning Acid Pro, helps with alot of music production stuff etc etc
