just scrounging about trying to find some bits, as the PC she has now is pretty pants (P233, 64Mb RAM, 1.2Gb HDD)...

so far got together...

Athlon 750 Slot A
256Mb RAM PC100
4.3Gb HDD
2.1Gb HDD
GeForce 2 MX440 64Mb GFX Card
ATI Radeon 9200SE GFX Card
SBLive 128+ Value thing (i think)
350W PSU
52x52x24 CDRW

should make a bit of a difference, but just dont know what to put on it...

Windows 98SE
Windows 2000
Windows XP

All will run pretty well, 2k & XP not quite as fast as 98, but better stability & hardware support...

not like its all being used so is one way of getting rid I suppose!

XP install it on the larger drive and use the smaller one for data

XP, as it's a more user friendly version of 2000 and 98SE is outdated.
