It actually could be real, it needs fawarding to eBay and they need to tell you... if you put a fake user name in it seems to know it's made up... so it must connect to the eBay server, if it was fake and able to connect to the server then surly they would be able to get at the user names and passwords too without trying to fool you in to giving them it.
Faward it to them and ask, let us know the out come.

Complete fake.
They don't ask for username/pass in emails.
I can't believe anyone even doubts this. It displays a genuine looking address and takes you to a hooky one, they put a time limit on you acting and the grammar is crap.
Stop even questioning these things, they're all dodge!

If you do a traceroute to 200.67.173.225 address it comes up as dsl-200-67-173-225.prod-empresarial.com.mx
In other words, someone in Mexico connected to the net via Broadband!

I had a great email from someone claiming to be the seller of a motorbike I'd bid on... bit strange as I actually know the seller
Notice how they make it pretty clear you're not to contact the seller, but reply to the email address they supply...
I offered to buy the bike immediately with bank transfer to make them all excited, but never got another email
***Do not reply to this email. Contact the seller at this e-mail address: drogosel@drogosel.us *** You expressed interest in an item titled "Suzuki....." (Item .........) by bidding, however the auction has ended with another member as the high bidder. In compliance with eBay policy, the seller of that item is making this Second Chance Offer to you at the price of GBP 900 The seller has issued this Second Chance Offer because either the winning bidder was unable to complete the transaction. If you accept this offer, you will be able to exchange Feedback with the seller and will be eligible for eBay services associated with a transaction, such as fraud protection. To purchase this item, don't reply to this mail, just contact the seller at drogosel@drogosel.us
Thank you,

They also have some bodged up way of covering the URL bar. Good idea, but it would work better if it actually covered the URL bar and not sat just below it

I'm not sure if many of you know about it but there is a few user's hacking accounts and setting up deals with people's details etc.... my mate's recently been a victim of it, and had his account frozen.
