2 - 3 inch will all be about right for the XE depending on mods.

2.25" is good for up to 180BHP
2.5" after that anthign bigger you can't really fit under the car and wouldn't be needed.

What about a variable 180bhp with a mid-band racoon injection system?

I'm thinking a 2.39" system would be best - am I correct in this assumption?

2.25" will be fine for anything you'll ever need, nothing wrong with 2" either.

My TB'd C16XE had a 2" mandrel bent system that seemed to work fine, the whole engine seemed to work well.

3" on an XE

I'd like a 3" system on my Calibra Turbo

Mid band raccon injection eh? is that of the spanglejot variety? cause then you have to divide by .0978884 cause they're not quite the same as the normal variety

Bugger, I forgot to divide and carry the positive integer

Works out at 2.25" for approx 180bhp by my figures.

So that'll be a BFO system courtesy of Blue Flame then

£210 from them on ebay - not bad for a full system!!
