How do I do this - something to do with joining red and yellow cables ?

Need a pretty detailed explanation

you need to find the permanant live, Then connect this up to the ignition live I too need to do this but i aint too sure what to connect the permanant too

I am also needing to do this as everytime I start the car again i have to tune all the radio and get the cd back to where it was. Matty Lee18 is right you need to find a permanent live.

carr u need to swop the yellow and red wires. this is a diff problem.

Hes saying if h/u is STILL ON when the ignition OFF/Keys out if im right?

ok mate cheers ill give it a go later.
i think what he is saying is he wants to listen to the stereo with the ignition off but he cant.
im not sure maybe he will clarify

Some of ya might have an issue with car alarms, i know i do...10secs n the cunts on form igtion off

Just connect both the permanent and ignition wires to the permanent live wire and the HU will come on with the ignition off!

And how is this done mate ? Do they need soldered ?

Cheers corsa dan i swapped the cables n now it works fine and remebers my stations/where i am in cd etc.
