A standard paper panel filter will provide the best filtration of dirt particles for optimal engine protection.

But if you want a performance filter that will give your car a bit of an induction note on acceleration, more throttle response and maybe a bit more torque and power whilst still retaining an exceptional level of engine protection, all in a tailor made kit form designed specifically for the Corsa and provide long-lasting performance and easy maintenance...

Or as much as a 1.6 16v X16XE engine with gearbox, ECU, loom etc - which I've got for sale. You interested?

well if you mean induction kit then they are all the same really!
they all increase the amount of air flow compared to standard box, only real difference is the sound each one makes, KnN sound well nice on this engine
if possible get a enclosed induction kit of some sort, if not get good 2-3 air feeds to it!

Far from it - induction kits vary massively between filter manufacturers and some products aren't even kits - they're just universal filters!!
For the best sound, long life and performance go for a reputable foam filter.

Why not just have one decent cold air feed?

because the engine bay is really tight on these 1.4 16v ecotech engines! even more than my 1.6 16v Gsi! and so just a single small air feed wont be enough!
ive had a KnN induction kit, which gave anice rumble and now got a pipercrss Viper without air feed on and they perform exactly the same... viper sounds like a beast without airfeed thou

But the Viper without an airfeed isn't getting the most out of the kit!!
You can route the 65mm cold air feed on a VFC197 kit either down the inner wing or across the top of the radiator to the original air feed mounting (but this is a bit crap tbh).
Or cut a hole in the bumper below the headlight and you've got a perfect spot for air.
I've got a 100mm cold air feed without too much hassle...
