My issue is the money! Have just got a Focus esp and thinking of playin with that. Turbo etc. Also got the wife a 206cc and have a mortgage to pay!!
But the golf would be for more fun! Just not to reliable.

the 20VT engine should be a tad more reliable than the current lump... even with a few visits to someone like jabba sport perhaps.
but hmmmm... choices choices...

Yeah but its the other parts that will have more stress on them. Brakes are good, have rear disk conversion etc. But wheel bearings are on way out as is dropped 110mm!! Will need new exhaust management etc! Plus the insurance!!!!

Which form is the 20vt engine in? If its the dual stage turbo thing then I would go for it. Either way tho, I wouldn't turbo a focus.

I'm not saying it wouldn't be fast I just don't see the point. If you want fast reliable power go and buy a pulsar and tun that a little. Zetec's are pigs at the best of time when it comes to modifications so I wouldn't fancy the reliability of a turbo'd one.
