just called direct line to declare that i'm having suspension and alloys fitted and they turned round and said they have stopped insuring modified car owners under 25yrs

used to have the same wheels insured about 3 years ago with them

might have to look for a new insurance company or keep to my steelies, or just not declare them

Your 23 and they won't insure alloys on your 1.4 16v? Thats the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard.

What is it with insurance companies at the moment?

LV are'nt insuring modded motors, and it seems like Direct Line are'nt either.
