i was wonddering if anyone can help me. i have an after market tacho and have wired it all up except fot the "green wire" it is definatly NOT behind my dash.
The instructions that came with it said to wir it to the negitive on the coil, so i tired wiring it to every pin on the coil and none of them made it work ( one made it move a little
Do i need to wire it to my ecu? does anyone know where abouts on the ecu i need to wire it too?

its a pea green wire coming out of the ECU. If you have a 1.2 8v, u2u Korsa on here, he has done it.

i have u2u Korsa. no reply yet. i looked at my ecu today can see about 3-5 wires pea geen, i have got a few pics but i dont know how to uplaod them.
can anyone help?

drivers side kick panel just behind there. i have all the wires ready i jst need to connect the one and i have a tacho! lol

Or just run a wire from the ground point of your coil if you can't find the right wire. It will be the wire that goes to the bodywork

it needs to be grounded to the ground of the coil, not just to any bare metal point.

i tries wiring my tacho up just to the 3 pea green wires. not one of them made it work

if you tried every pea green wire then you probably are using the wrong wire for the tacho or have a faulty tacho

from the ecu..... bet it did... mines the same spec...
