hi all
my c20xe is in courtesy of beardy and chris and so far chris has done a great job on the car and keeping me informed but...
IT DOESN'T START!!!
the engine turns over but it wont start
the plugs arent sparking and they look fine, its not the fuel pump...
everything points to the ecu, but finding a new one is a right task as its a later c20xe with the dizzy on the side i think and its a pt or tp code
my car is was a 1.0 12v before if this helps
can anyone help?

yeah the cam belt is fine its new.
the car hasnt run yet since the engine was put in. the engine was sold as a running engine with loom and ecu.
its been looked at for about 9 hours with wiring diagrams for the car and engine already!!

i think its the 1.0 12v loom that may be causing the problem....
talk to j100rsa i think i remember him saying the 12v wiring was easy enough...

if its not sparking it will be either ecu, crank shaft sensor, coil, loom, dizzy, fuel pump relay, leads
