I work with a volunteer whose girlfriend seems to think I'm on with him!
It doesn't help when he goes to meetings in London and misses the last train so stays their over night and she suspects I'm with him!
Anyway at about 2pm the work phone rings and someone asks for me! Lets all the caller "silly cow"

Leni - Yeh apprently he came in at about 1 when I was out at lunch but he was told I'd be about 30 minute and he...

My boss then rung the lass back and she gave her loads so my boss is stopping me working with this bloke until she has a meeting with him, she's also thinking of contacting the police for harrassment and I'm not to be in the office on my own now 
This has been going on for weeks but it's the first time the lass has spoken to me and had a chance to kick off, she just normally asks if I'm in and if not, if I'm with John!

Apprently her ex husband cheated on her then left her and she's now insecure!
(or this is what he's told me)
Up until today, I didn't think he would have said anything to provoke her, though I have to turn my phone off as soon as I leave work on a night coz he texts me at randon times etc 12.45 am! about news articles etc that affect Gypsies and my thoughts on them!
I never text back, just turn my phone off!

I met him at a Conference in Birmingham in May, we were in the same workshop and at introductions we both said we work with travellers in hull! He got my contact details of the delegate list and called the next week!
Ever since I've been passing information that I think he may find usful (he goes to court to fight evictions for highly mobile travellers) Because my job is council funded, this is something I carn't get involved in coz it means fighting my funders and thats just stupid if I want my job to continue!
Anyway, he just randomly pops into the office, and I've made it clear that I don't like being "alone" with him, not just because of safety aspect, but also it's not in Gypsy culture for a man to be alone with a woman thats not his girlfriend/wife etc etc! So I've gotta work to trhem condiontions! But he just pops in unannounced and waffles for 2 hours, which takes up my time and after them 2 hours I have completely no idea why he popped in!
I taken to not going to meetings alone with him! and the London trip, we were both ment to go but I opted out!
He girlfriend rings up everytime he's at the office and you can hear her shouting down the fone at him!
He works closly with a woman from Trav Ed and she too is called Elaine and she goes to courts with him! I'm wondering if his girlfriend thinks that theirs only 1 Elaine and thats me, and thats why she thinks I'm spending loads of time with him!
