Does it take to change a set of brake pads? Taking into account ive never done this before and dont have a clue really what to do

Ive got a set of mintex pads sitting to go on but unsure if its too late/dark/cold to start it now

What tools do I need

40 minutes is rocket fast and assumes nothing sticks or breaks.

I assume this is not Corsa you're talking about?

40 mins ish. takes me about 20mins to do both side on the front on mine.

make sure you have pads, copper grease, wheels wrench, some thing to push the piston back in withand spanners.

What pads have you got?

1144's i hope!

shouldnt do if your changing the pads. You are going to push the pistons back so you will need less fluid in the system so it wont need topping up. when your pushing the pistons back in keep and eye on the level so it doesnt go over the top.

just push one back a lil bit at a time....then go to the next one...push that back a bit...then go round until all are right back in the caliper

or get a brake bad spreader......for about a 10er and it will do all 4 at the same time
