impressive list of features, price looks very good, £120 including vat and delivery. how much (roughly) does it cost to install these things?

its quite a big installation, would cost anything between £50 and £100 at a shot.

ill be installing one of these before xmas on a mates car so ill let you know

Just 50 and 100? i would've thought it'd be more than that. also, as i dont have central locking or anything at the moment, im guessing that would put the price up quite a bit?

not really, if you want to have central locking installed it will obviously cost more, but you dont have to have central locking to use the alarm

true, but i want it as well as the fancy remote engine start things etc.

i wouldn't bother myself as it doesn't look like it is thatcham approved, and look at the wires on the picture all colour coded to make it easier for a thief (thatcham alarms all have black wires).For a non thatcham alarm it is ok especially for the remote start, but u get what u pay for!

But does all that crap it does make it alot harder to fit? How hard, how long would it be to fit to a sprot with leccy windows locking etc.

Also ive currentyl an alarm thats fitted already but not working will this make it harder?

paint the wires black! lol. mainly i just like the idea of remote start, central locking, the fact i know whast going on at my car, the way you can shut off the engine if the theif starts it, (if they dont cut the wires) and of course the pretty blue LED
plus im a very poor student.
