Ok then who's got one or has a mate with one? Before I pop upto Sheffield to see what they can do me whats there workmanship like, what grade of stainless do they use and also whats the silencing like on them?
Found a very local small-time Stainless Exhaust manufacturer (mainly build classics/ busses etc) who can make me the 'quiet-ish' system I want using 2.25" bore for a little over £300 cash.. good price? This would be manifold back & two silencers...

Will do matey, likely to be late next week if I do but after the HORROR stories of powerflow dealers Im hoping these are diffo. Ive heard a few systems of Ascars and they were TOO loud for me, I want quiet... sleeper sleeper (LOL with a 2.25" bore).

You'd be better off driving a bit further to Leeds to Tony Law exhausts.

You'd be better off suggesting an exhaust manufacturer that makes a system for a Corsa B with a C20XE manifold.

ascar are wank imo, 4 of my mates have been back at least 3 times, same problems, bracket welds braking...
appanrtly the metal they use is off cuts from stright mazda systems, as used on the mx5, they just bend this to what they need. thats what sombody said who used to work there,
they seem to be ok if you watch them do it, like Iaz (i think thats hisname) who has the jagcorsa

Using "offcuts" isn't anything bad. If it's exhaust grade s/s then it's fine.
I've seen some companies make up exhausts with scaffolding.....
