Honey Comb (just off royal mile, 1st right going down after Bank Hotel) is prob what you'd like. Not been out to clubby clubs recently, just bars
Liquid Rooms on victoria st
City - not sure on this one but the gf mentioned it (behind waverly train station)
Opal Lounge - avoid.... full of baw bags wannabe toffs

nope..... whats wrong with travel lodges?
Carlton - 192 per person per night..... and thats one of the cheaper hotels in the city centre
Skanky hotels and B&B's will be cheaper.
Train not an option from airport, bus is £3.50 to city centre
