Just been on private road on the way back from some girls I know...doing a little over 100 when I slowed down to come off my slip road...I realise a beam of light keeps following...slowed down to speed limit...and turned stereo down and realised it was a police helicopter...
As you can imagine I had shit my pants by this point...then suddenly light goes off and helicopter moves on... think he may well have just been making a point that he was aware of my speed and to slow down...I hope

Safely say I proceeded the rest of my journey at the national speed limit...

I was not racing...I was on the road by myself...no other cars about...my car is a performance vehicle and travelling at that speed is quite safe...it was built to do a lot more...

However I was stupid...and I have learnt my lesson

I was going that fast as its easy to get to that speed....sometimes u dont realise you are doing that kind of speed...especially if you have the radio on loud like I did...

doubt you get a decent perspective of speed from up high in a chopper.
do they have accurate detection equiptment from that distance?

nowt to worry about IMO.
imagine you were a cop at night up in the sky, you'd shine the light on people just to shit them up. just for a laugh, cause you were bored.....
