Used the performance stats on the site for a GSi,
however what are the other models?
2.5 V6 etc etc,

i only ask as i had a bit of a tinker with a vectra last night,
From 30-100 i was keeping up with him the whole way,
Then had to brake from 100 right down to 0 because of red lights,
(Im so glad i have brembo powah here)
I was just passing him before we both started braking,
Off the line he got rapped, i struggled to get full traction but still pulled away

I had a bit of a race with a vectra,
It looked like it had GSi alloys,
however it was debadged, so couldnt tell what it was,
Quite subtle kit mebbe irsmcher, think it was black, smoked rear lights,
Couldnt see the front to see if it was a GSi or not,
But i guessed it wasnt as i was keeping up with it

if it was a v6 he would of left you from around 60 to 100 once it picked up but off the mark you would of easy had it
more than likely a 2.0

sri 2.0 130 is 130 and the sri 2.2 150 is 150 surprisingly

V6SRi is bout 170bhp V6GSi is bout 200bhp.

Im sure kerry will agree here, the Gsi`s dont make anywhere near that figure as standard. more like 185-190 if you are lucky, some normal V6's seem to make higher than stated power though.
IMO GSi is overated as the performance model in that range, not really much difference between that and normal V6. Would probably come down to the running condition of each car in a drag race.

Takes too long to wind up, V6 vectra heavy as fcuk.
Mind you once properly mapped the lighter flywheel and tuning on my GSi did make quite a difference. less sluggish and more punchy, acceleration was much improved.
