What springs have you used?
Grinding away metalwork because your car is too low is the bodged way of doing things. If you lower the car and the exhaust scrapes, do you remove the exhaust system?

Nova or Corsa B springs?
Standard shocks?
What offset are your wheels?
17's are too big for a Corsa anyway.
I suggest getting decent springs that don't drop the arch over the tyre.
If the Apex springs are new, you'll have no problems shifting them.

Again, you're working backwards - if parts of your car are fouling on the floor, then you should be looking at getting the car to sit higher.

to roll the arches, you will need a bodyshop to do this.
to make em wider you go and buy a wide arche kit.. (please dont!)
i suggest you get some uprated shocks (megagas or something) to assis with the springs as standard shocks are never upto the shortened rate of travel

Take an angle grinder to the underside of the arches and shave them back.
You might as well take them back a good inch or so, then you'll at least be able to fit 18's or 19's in the future.

Apex Corsa B springs are notorious for failing to lower the stated amount.
I've seen -60 Corsa springs lower 25mm at the rear.
Nova springs were always fine though.

You could have a bodyshop flare the standard arches.

Yes, AK had a full ashtray, so he cut off his dashboard.

Just cut some of the arch away with an angle grinder, or get coilovers and adjust it to the perfect height
