My driveway has a wall round it....I reverse in close to wall so missus' car can get in to..

Now done this thousands of times now...always perfect and about 1-2" away from wall on passenger side...

Well last night I was a wee bit close and bump.......... caught my wing mirror on edge of gate...Smashed the bottom of the mirror surround bit........big chunk out of it...... so pissed off....need to get a new mirror now...heated and electric too..............................................

Yeah i could replace just the case...cause mirror ok and so will be all electrics etc inside..

£20 ain't bad then....................need to get it painted too but..........

Shit mate. At least you didn't do any body damage.

I have the same prob mate with my drive. Saxo only just goes through with an inch either side of wing mirrors with them pushed in. The other morning i almost hit the post with the wing; might have even touched it but no damage has been done apart from the gate as i hit that with the wheel trying not to hit the wing. Got paint on the wheel trim but that cleaned off and just left a few little scratches which will clean off. Alloys going on this Monday anyway.

I have to put the thing on the drive as there are too many cars in the steet and i'd have to park up the road somewhere.

I clipped her rear arch with his rear arch and they always park in same place so she woulda had to be doing some funky driving to manage that

No ones noticed shoooosh
