In the cold weather i can start the car fine but when i stop from 2nd gear or higher, the cars revs drop and stall. Takes bout 5mins to start up again then runs fine. Any ideas?

it senses the temp of your coolant and tells the ecu what fuel to give the engine.... when its fecked it tells the ecu bad things and not enough fuel is supplyed....

think thats the way it works...

Wouldnt the Engine Managment light come on? It doesnt when the car cuts out

sometimes yeh sometimes no.... mine didnt when i had the problem.

If it is the coolant sensor, how much it cost you to repair it?

the sensor itself cost about 20quid.... can be fitted in easy....

i have a 1.2 engine if you want any bits off it....
