hi peeps is this fone good like want as pay as you go on orange nxt year but got a nokia at moment, is it possible to swap information from nokia too a samsung ???

i recently went from having nokias to using a sony ericsson (s700I) & i have to say it works so much better than any nokia i've used

& i've used them all

wicked boss basically looking for pic quality and mini vids like sounds good the only prob is i got is changing the nokia info too sony or samsung would this be poss for changing info from 1 sim card to another!!!

when you put your sim into the sony ericsson it will automatically run the setup wizzard. once this is done press down on the joystick & it will ask you if you want to copy all the details onto the phones memory

if you buy it & do an orange pay as you go upgrade they will transfer your phone no & your credit onto the new sim card it comes with & also you will get their 3p text promo for 6 months. this means texts to all networks will only cost you 3p

i have a k700.
tis amazing.
far easier to operate than any nokia i've ever used.
i thought nokias had the best menu system/ease of use, etc. but they're not all that really.

looked at the k700 today looks a nice fone like much better and smaller than the bulky nokia pic fones i must say also like the e800 looks smart but well exspensive were the k700 is much cheaper at mo is k700 good for pics and vids like????

k700 pic quality is better than the e800 both on the phone & when transfered onto a pc. the e800 doesn't do vids & the k700 does vids for an unlimited time (until the 41mb memory is full)

ok fellas cheers for advice u safed me few shillings like i want to change from nokia due to the stupid bulky nokias they come out with now camera phones, so does the k700i comes with wire to hook up to pc and software???

K700 has software and handsfree in the box.

Youll need a Bluetooth dongle or Infared adapter or a cable to transfer pix/mp3s etc

no it doesn't


£29.99 for a cable or roughly £40 for a bluetooth usb dongle. these items you can prob pick up cheaper on ebay though
