That back in 1812 The White House was actually grey... it was built of Granite but in 1812 British Canadians marched on Washington and burned it badly ( ) They then couldn't paint over the black smoke marks so they whitewahed it all and hecne it became known as The White House.

Bit of trivia for the day...

Never know it may come up in the pub quiz...

Came 5th out of 20 teams last night and we had 2 policemen on our team Dunno who they were though...
