if you go to the office,just a day, you can get it over the counter. depends how urgent you need it. otherwise there are options, e.g 2 weeks,1 month etc, but you pay more for quicker service.

i think my mate had to go to the passport place in wales to get his on the day. Cost him alot iirc

It's £89 for 4 hour service (same day)... I know, I had to pay.

They'll also do 1 week guaranteed and a 2 week non-guaranteed service... Cheapest option is still £25 odd...

yes he is correct! i had to get one the same day after i tried to go on holiday with an expired passport. Checked into manchester 5.10 am, the guy told me my passport was out of date so had to go to Liverpool, waited for the place opening, sorted passport out, waited 4 hours for it to be processed and then phoned up to get a flight from east midlands for 6pm on the same day.
