ok my c: drive is 98% full and my computer is going really really slow
but my d: is at 1% so can i move all my mp3s on to my d: drive or not?
or do i need to get some more memory?

You can move stuff onto your D: drive, that'd free it up a bit.
You could try Defragmenting the drive too, on XP it's:
Start, All Programs, Accessories, System Tools, Disk Defragmenter.
Select your C: drive, click Analyse, and it'll tell you if you need to Defragment it. If you do, click the Defragment button, but make sure you don't use the computer while it does it.

if i put stuff on d: it wont all dissapear when i next turn my pc on will it?
like it aint only temp and deleates after so long?

If D: is a hard drive, then yes, it'll stay there.

Defragmenting is also not wise (if it works at all) if you've got less than 10% free-space on a drive......so moving stuff over to D: first would be wise.
