last night my battery went flat due to a short circuit - 1.2 8v - now sorted etc, fully charged, all electrics and starter works... but now after a few hours of driving the car starts idling very low and cutting out.. so i checked the diagnostic which reported code 14 - coolant temp sensor - low voltage???

This caused a bit of a prob as it was dark and me and my mates were on a deserted narrow country road

So the quesitons are:

Could this be due to the battery problem?
Is it easy to repair?
How much does it cost?

your actually lucky.... alot of the time the ecu light doesnt come on for a coolant temp sensor problem so youir left ot guess why the car is idling low/cutting out randomly....

change the coolant temp sensor the part costs 20 quid from vaux.... problem solved.
