cant decide whats best tbh
at the mo i work for Volkswagen as a parts advisor
been offerd a job by porsche, at a nicer location, nearer and a growing brand
porsche have offerd me £500 a year less the VW, but with a bonus sceme, which means if we hit it we can get from £80-£130 a month more
everyone seams to want to fuck off from VW so moral there is shite, but i get to do fuck all
but with porka its a challange which means i may have to do something
whats best help

defo id take the lesser pay just to look at porsches all day, cold lead to better things too.

id go for Porsce as it maybe that bit less but look what you can progress onto, a Porker engineer or a VW engineer?
your choice but id go for the porker

porsche definently - will possibly look better on your c.v especially if you go for jobs with other more exclusive companies, plus eventually pay will be better, and with a company like porsche if you do your job right, you will more than likely have a job for life

Don't be fooled by the badge. Will there be more career progression with VW or Porsche?
All very well looking at 911's all day, but you won't be owning them, just selling wiper blades and the like.
If people are leaving VW, what jobs are being left open?

none that i want progress to, 2 service receptionists and service manager, and some technitions the only logicla step up for me is to parts manager, which is currentley filled
i dont see either to have a better carear path the one another, just porscher are quite desperate to hire me, and the group are known for looking after the staff, unlike VW

within the porka group there is also and VW and Audi group, ive allready been using these systems for 9 months or so, and the porka one is similar system
so i could logically move to VW and Audi in a parts managers role in a few years

problem is in parts theres 2 roles, advisor and manager, so thats my only promotion, the only thing is they liek to promote whitin the group, so if a managers job is going at audi, they would prefer someone that allready works for them
