use something like virtual dub and save it using a mpeg4 codec

google it mate  as for codec, i believe if you have media player 9 it comes with an mpeg4 codec.....otherwise google it again

http://www.virtualdub.org/ - thats the free open source editing software
http://www.afterdawn.com/software/video_software/codecs_and_filters/divx_3_codec.cfm - thats a mpeg 4 codec
install both and then its a simple case of opening the file into virtual dub, clicking Save As...and going through the settings and making sure mpeg4 codec is selected

Jambo, you need to make sure you convert the video to the correct resilution (sp)
On my k700 i can only view videos with a resulution 348x246 (i think)... and under, your p900 will be able to view higher than that but make sure you get the correct resulution set up or you will just hear sound.
