gave up smoking on new years day, no patches no nothing
3 days and still goin strong, its gonna be difficult at work 2moro tho, nearly every1 smokes  oh well
just to say that if u do want to quit all it takes is a lil bit of will power and its easy, i've been smoking 4-5 years now n i've just stopped without any use of patches or anything.

I managed it for two week before xmas...
...then I went to a work party, got drunk, and smoked 
I could cope with nothing after meals, after work, etc, etc -- I just really can't drink without ending up smoking...

oh yea, reminds me on new years day when we went to the pub, had a drink n i was itching for a cig lol but i resisted, plus the g/f is doing it too so we are kinda helping each other, if either of us smoked now we'd know we will have let each other down.
Plus, i'd forgotten how nice food tastes

i was gonna give up somoking, but i only smoke when i'm smoking weed. still might give it up tho, but what else am i gonna do to pass time?

Strange though as it effected some of my mates so that they were really dopey - im quite a bright lad and i dont feel its effected me that much (been smoking for bout 6 years)

I stopped for 7 weeks before.........The 1st few weeks are the easiest then it gets harder...
hope you do it though.

i dont smoke cigs and never have, i only smoke when i'm smoking a spliff, never just smoke a cig lol.

I've just stopped before, but as I spend most of my time not drinking when I'm out because I have tae drive, then I just smoke instead.

it was difficult at work with the smokers, they offered me one n i resisted n told them i'd quit for my NY resolution, bad mistake i had them blowing smoke on me all day, but i still resisted so i'm actually quite proud of myself
Day 4 and its going ok lol

Aye i know the feeling, the girl i work with smokes alot and its hard not to have a quick ciggie, i do like the smell of cigarette smoke as well.
But now smoking makes me feel sick
