Why does it say i have errors! wat can cause this?how do i solve this problem?

i get about 100 overnite when i leave it downloading, its only lsot packets and stuff like that dont worry

It's quite obviouse you are running it through a low speed hub/swtch or a router.

is that to a network or to the net?

I'm in uni halls, each access point got a 10mbit conx

No each point has a 10mb uplink connection to a switch... that is not to the ineternet and simply means you can communicate with other PC's in the same building at 10Mbps.

Your net speed at max will be 800k... run a speed check on it.

on the same as Dav local Area Network but on the main computer..
