we went up to newcastle great place 
we pull up and see some bloke beating up his woman.
we go out in town (supposidly it was student night)
come out of club and fights are kicking off. walking to cars some of our team and anouther had to avoid being beat up with baseball bats (and a washing up bottle) by some randoms that jumped out of cars (some other bloke got quite beat up though).
anouther team did got beat up by other people as well, they arrived in the morning for the race black and blue.

this has never happened to me the hundreds of times iv been to newcastle, although last time i was drinkin up wallsend one of the lads i was with got stabbed twice in the chest with a pair of pliars as we left the pub...

shooting and fights have happened before in kingston so suppose we were just unlucky.
newcastle did have some plus point though -some loverly ladies about town and an excellant kart track

agree totally, people have too much freedom, punishment isnt harsh enough and some people siply can't bring up their kids properly
