yes mate correct
but when people spend 20k modding an enzo this is not "chav" as chavs are on the dole and thus can not afford one in the first place
(example nothing to do with u, read it other day on here by some1 else)

yep, charvas are hawkers but different from gypsies from where im from (gypsies live in caravans, hawkers live in nice houses with a merc, jeep and tranny van)
townies are chav, but we dont call them chav, either townies or skunners (names after skern park) or moorites (after firth moore lol)

i think it can stem form the word "tacky"
Which is what Chavs are associated with due to their hideous lack of taste.
Therefore if someone sees something tacky it becomes "chav"

Chavs are different to poor people and pikies. They do tend to wear similar clothes, but poor people tend to get thier clothes from the Unicef clothes bin in the Chalfo St Peter Parish Council car park. They also tend to hang out in the bottle bins and skips in the said car park. Chavs on the other hand look up to poor people and pikes because it is cool to be a fucking idiot. Pikies live in caravans and are generally very rich, they seem to spend a lot of time in the Apple Tree Harvester eating chips and burgers with their fingers - they don't know how to use knives and forks and they piss all over the floor and toilet seats because they are all in-bred and look the same - you can tell a pikie is a pikie because he'll come up chattin Irish to you trying to sell you some crap he found/stole. Chavs are scum, they are just leeches. They dress in lime green Adidas and tend to wear a load of shite jewellery - if they can drive, thier car will be shit. If they want to be cool they will modify thier car, badly.
Think before you call somone a chav, thats all I have to say.

Well, I live about half a mile away from this road called Leachcroft. Every single person on that road is inbred. They are ALL related and all go about talking Irish, they are all ex-pikies AKA poor people.
