how hard is it to do, what bits needed extra bodgery etc, and what is the insurance like? i'm trying to figure out if this is do-able for me, as was lookin at a turbo lump but they're like rocking horse shite

the v6 seem to be the engine of choice on mig at the minute but NOT in a corsa i think i seen beardy say he'd never do one again.....
moving the steering rack... custom exhaust manifolds.... ewwwww.... not worth the pain IMO

i had a spin in a 2litre corsa over christmass( the only one in ireland) as a passenger... was fast BUT not blindingly quick...
cnuting insurance they just wont have engine conversions

Just under 800 squid tpft, on an l reg SRi lowered blah blah blah... all mods declared, age 22, not a too bad area. It was 1500 quid last year though.

2.5 V6 what you need :-
2.5 V6 Engine
F20 Gearbox
F20 Flywheel (which out this will be shit)
Custom engine mounts (need making on the car)
Custom Front Manifold made (as hit cross member)
Custom Rear manfold made (as hits powersteering rack)
Custom Spacer made for Torq Bar ring
Nova/Corsa Van rad (cos its bigger and can hold more water)
very good quailty Fan (V6 Powersteering is good)
only problem with the V6 is theres no off the shelf items for it, so you need to be well rounded in you skills
Insurance was a nightmare
