I've just put blue leds behind my dials, but now they are really dim and the dial that increases the brightness has stopped working. Have I put them in wrong or is there anything I can do to make them brighter?

Take them out and rotate the 180% the put them back in, led's only work one way

the dimmer wont work as they only take a small current and this doesnt make much difference....do u know what brightness they are? I have got a 10,000 mcd blue in the middle and the two outside ones are 12,000 mcd whites.

do you have different dials?
my car has lockwood silver ones, and you can't see led light through them.

i think it depends what leds you have and the resistor ratings on them... also the diles you have make big difference, ive got standard gsi dials , and my 10,000mcd leds shine thru fine... not bright, but you can see it at night and tell what speed your doing, but only just
and the dimmer slider does work.. but again not that effective compared to the standard bulbs
