Is it gonna make a massive difference if i have 2 slightly different tyres on the front of my car?

Both are Michelin Pilot Sports, but one is a heavy load and the other not. The tread pattern is different on each but they are both brand new.

Need 2 know asap cos they're being fitted 2moz.

eh?

heavy load?? what do you mean?

depends on the style of the thread

it's not so bad having different ones on front compared to back... but if say your left front has tread like >>>>> and your right front has thread like SSSS then it'll be a bit weird.

Its always better to fit in identical pairs, but being as their both the same type of tyre, albeit slightly different models, shouldnt be too much bother i'd think.

I went round with a dunlop and a kuhmo on the front of mine and couldnt tell any difference really .

Both are 225/40/18s but the numbers after are a lil different. Think one is 87Y and other is 93Y. Tread on one is like III the other is like\/\/\ - ish lol

They're huge - I hope they're not going on a Corsa!

Personally I'd sell one and get a matching pair.

I wouldn't mix treads either. I'd stick with either all 4 the same or match 2 on the front and diff match on the back only but it's your call
