i had a set of 17s on my corsa but they were scrubbing like a biatch. i was told that i had to get my arches cut out so i did that nd it helped alot.. how do the ppl who have 18s nd 19s on manage? is there sumthin else that u can do to stop the scrubbing?

where abouts will i find this? inside or outside of the tyre? or is it on the actual alloy?

Give it a clean where it says ET, it will have an offset stamp on it somewhere.

on other spokes it said 17x7 and another said 04 and then some weird pattern thing - cudnt read wot was on the other

Its more likely to be in the middle of the wheel, it'll either be stamped on the back, or under where the hubcap goes (if you have 1)

go and hav another look, check all your wheels cos it will say sum where...

or are they muli fit wheels?

Even if they were multi-fit wheels they would still have an ET stamp

All wheels have been made to an offset so it will have a stamp on it somewhere.

ok looked on another alloy and where the PCD: ET: is.. a little closer to teh centre it says 40
on another spoke it says 291 - could that be the PDC?

Sounds like its ET40, which isn't a good offset for a Corsa B, and will rub (like you said) Sell them to someone with a Corsa C as there wont be any fitting trouble on that, and then buy some wheels which are the correct offset
