about the engine in my golf and compared it to the old engine that was in and came up with this....
old engine.....
1.8 GTi 3d
1781cc
112bhp
insurance grp 14
new engine.....
2.0 GTi 3d
1984cc
115bhp
123 top speed
9.8 0-60
grp 14 insurance
cant seem to understand why anyone would bother changing it cos theres no power difference really, but apparently the new engine is more torquey

2.0 gti out a Mk3 by anychace???
if so 0-60 is useless Mk3 is heavier than a mk2
and the 2.0 is more tunable than the 1.8 as far as i know
by the way nice research did you type 1.8/2.0 Gti spec into google??
Research is when you actually look deeper into things, not when you copy and paste Spec lists
