Maybe Buying a GSI this weekend thats needs B pillar welding.

i just wondered if any one has had this done and how much?

and would the car be suitable for a 2 litre after welding?

I have a GSi, the B pillars are cracked, about £150 per side I was quoted and yes with or without welding would be fine for XE conversion

They dont make the car structurally weak, its just one of them things, its more cosmetic than anything and mr MOT man might get funny about them, i had a crack on my GSI didnt get picked up on the 3 mot's i put it through when i owned the car
