any one had corsa c lowered 60mm?

shaln't be doing it on standard shocks

hopefully (when funds permit) get koni adjustable shocks, and set them to nealy stiffest setting, and pop in some FK lowering springs, 60mm drop.

I intend on pulling out inner plastic arch. I've got 17" et42 wheels. Will i still be able to turn my front wheels, or will it jsut pull my arches off, will i get many problems...?

Mines at about -35mm at the mo and sometimes it can still rub under very hard cornering but if your gonna take the inners out you might be ok cos mine rubs on the bolt that holds them in.

i only get rubbing if there are heavy people in the back (which isn't often). Thinking about swapping the wheels for something with a better offset (45) when i get the refurbished

so whats th e offest limits?

et??-et??

i got et42, so i presume et45 is best going to et35 which is bad something like that...

how do u get no rubbing with a 70mm drop
im hoping the FK 60mm front springs on koni shocks will only drop it 50mm, is that a bit nieve?

It'll still drop 60mm with the FK springs, use Apex springs

it's either that or you get the arches on the C cut back to where the holes start. This should give you more clearance

it was the bolt on mine that was scrubbing, on a single journey of about 5 miles with people in the back it sratched the fuck outta my tyres

Since taking the bolts out and shaving down the arch a tiny bit it's a lot better

i think ill just try it.
get 60mm springs n shocks for the front n 40mm for rear, then just spend ages poncing about once ive got it

just so as i have an idea,

what would be the best offest for droppin 60mm,
and
which would be the worst, but which i could stil get away with, without too many problems...

[YES i know it seems alot, buti dont wana spend over £400 lowerin my car, and it collapses. ]

ET45 is the best offset mate, anthing more and it will touch the suspension, anything less it will touch the arches

just in case you can't find much with ET45, anything from 40 - 45 will be ok. You may need to make said adjustments though.

Lower it on Apex springs for fuck sake, you've seen how low it dropped my old Corsa, and ryan's corsa. It is the perfect amount of lowering:
