rather pay lots of silly money to get this done thought id have a go myself, never done anything like this so im hopeing all goes well heres a pic of from what i started last night...

just a bit of advice mate. u should of taken more paint off really

looks good may have been betta if u had got plates of metal welded in so it dont crack latter but it should be ok!

keep up the good work tho, well done having a go your self!

i sanded down 2 the metal on the boot lock and around the wiper hole but as u can see got abit messy as its not the easyiest stuff to work with lol, i need 2 sand the fibreglass down now and just add bodyfiller is this correct? cheers

did u use any mesh etc? did my wiper a while back

is good fun to do, i enjoyed it

yeah i used mesh on both of them, bit fiddly to get fibreglass in that small space at bak of wiper, yeah im enjoyin it doin something myself and not havin 2 pay stupid money for it, ill take more paint off 2nite around the areas thanks for the advise lads much appreciated

the paint will come off when u sand it smooth and level anyway

got a large ish sanding block?

not that far really, stuck abit of mesh in the triangle and slapped fibre glass on both sides and its rock solid now

btw p40s a bitch to sand -use an angle grinder to get it relatively smooth and just belwo the surface - then a skim of p38 easy sand to finish
