i sent a set with amtrack, put some card over the alloy face, and wrapped them in bin liners! make sure you deflate the tyre to, will cost less on pastage.
i paid about £30 ish iirc, next day
ive just got a new set through the post from wheel base, they were done they same but shrink wrapped.

I would try a courier. You can send them trough Parcel force, but they can be pricey.

Was that £9 a wheel Icy?
And does 16kg for a set of 16's seem right as i sort of weighed mine.

A typical 17" alloy weighs about 8kg tyre probably the same again!!!!
If its wheel & tyre then your looking at that each if its wheels only you can send 2 together

I thought you would have to send them in 4 seperate parcels. How much extra do you think it would cost for them to go to the shetland isles than normal?

You sure that's a Shetland Postcode as I would of thought they would have charged extra as it is overseas but they haven't?
